Common faults and troubleshooting methods for air impact wrenches:
1. If the rotary tool does not rotate or the speed slows down, and the trigger is released but the tool still cannot stop rotating, it may be due to foreign objects blocking the motor throttle valve or air port. The rotor blades are considered worn or broken, and the gear part or bearing is damaged. It should be checked, removed, and replaced with a gear or grapefruit.
2. If the tool cannot stop rotating, it may be due to the wear of the O-ring of the throttle valve or the bending deformation of the throttle valve. The O-ring and throttle valve should be replaced.
3. If the motor does not rotate, the rotor may be blocked by foreign objects and the bearings may be burned out. If the air pressure is too low, the foreign objects should be removed and the bearings should be replaced to increase the pressure to the required value.
4. If the tool does not turn and the exhaust volume is high, the rotor blades may be blocked. The motor rotor may get stuck due to rust, and foreign objects should be removed, rust candles should be removed, and lubricating oil should be added.
5. The torque of the tool gradually decreases but the rotation is normal, which may cause deformation and wear of the striking parts, lack of lubricating oil, and wear of the rotating head and sleeve. Replace the damaged parts, add lubricating oil, and replace the shaft or sleeve.
6. If the speed of pneumatic wrench tools slows down or only a small amount of air is discharged from the exhaust port, it may be due to foreign objects blocking the air path. If the speed control knob is closed due to foreign objects blocking the inside of the motor, check and remove the foreign objects in the air passage. Adjust the speed control knob by removing the foreign objects inside the motor.
7. If the clamp cannot clamp the lock head, the clamp ring may be worn, and the worn parts should be replaced with springs.
8. If the motor of the ratchet wrench head tool rotates but the shaft head does not rotate or rotates abnormally, the strength of the ratchet claw spring may weaken or be damaged. Wear parts should be replaced and the spring should be replaced.
9. If the nail type tool nail cannot be inserted or withdrawn, it may be due to dirty or worn clamp pieces, weakened top cylinder strength, weakened oil pressure spring, or insufficient oil pressure rod. The clamp should be cleaned and replaced with a new spring to adjust the oil pressure rod to the gear position.
10. The nailing force of the nail tool may gradually decrease, and the cylinder and piston friction force may cause air leakage in the valve. The cylinder should be lubricated with butter to check and replace the damaged parts of the valve.
11. The water oil grid cannot filter water, and oil injection may be due to the filter core not being tightly installed or the gas not passing through the filter element. The oil volume adjustment knob may not be adjusted correctly. The filter element should be tightened or the sealing O-ring should be checked for any damage that may cause air leakage. Adjust the oil volume knob properly.
